Here's What Our Client's Say About Us

Care with you at the heart of it

My mother is a new client of Willow Adult Care Services and we are very happy to have them onboard. They are nothing but kind, efficient, caring and professional. We know my mother is in good hands which is important as I live abroad. My mother is also very pleased with their support and kindness.

Daughter of Client

My uncle has been receiving excellent care from Willow Adult Care for over a year now. We are very happy with the service you provide. My uncle tells me every day he likes the carers he feels they take care of his dignity at all times. The personal care given is exemplary! My uncle remains comfortable in his own home and this is achieved by the visits by your staff at home. Recently after a spell in hospital, the care was increased to 3 visits a day and a food and eating plan was introduced. This is always done with my uncle's independence in mind. We have excellent communication with the staff who keep us informed of any changes for our attention. My uncle refers to Willow staff as his family they go above and beyond expectations. Thank you.

Niece of Client

My mum was treated with the highest standard of care by the carers. They were always on time and made sure that my mum's needs were always met. It was nice to have a company that cared about their client's well-being, as they would always let me know if there was a problem with my mum. I would definitely recommend this company.

Daughter of Client

Since moving to Willow Adult Care, Mum has stated that the carers are the best she has ever had. She always looks forward to them coming; they are kind and genuinely caring. Since first contact and very fast initial assessment, and then being able to start the next day, was amazing, as the previous care company just stopped coming with no notice or apology, so this was refreshing to find such a good service provider. Many thanks to all the staff.

Son of Client

The family are all very pleased with the care our uncle is receiving. The carers are all very friendly and treat him with great dignity at all times. They have all forged good relationships with our uncle. They go above and beyond the call of duty. He says that he thinks of them as family. My sister, cousin and I are happy that he is being cared for well. Any issues are flagged up with us and dealt with promptly.

My carer and I have established a great relationship. For my part, I have found him to be cheerful, helpful and always upbeat. Days, when I wake up less than happy with life and my current state of health are seen as a challenge to my carer. He points out how much progress I have made since we met, and all the things I have to look forward to. He gets on well with my family and it seems that nothing is too much trouble for him. You should be proud and thankful that you have an employee as good as him. Thank you for letting me meet him.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is home care?

Domiciliary care—also known as home care—is support provided in your own home to help with daily tasks, personal care, or medical needs. It allows individuals to remain independent and comfortable in familiar surroundings.

Is home care the right option ?

Home care (sometimes called ‘domiciliary care’) is the perfect option for anyone looking for some assistance to live independently at home. This may be on a short-term basis – after a period of ill-health and or a hospital stay – or it might be more longer-term, for those individuals that just need a bit of extra support across a variety of day-to-day activities.

Our care packages are wide-ranging and personalised depending on your requirements. Our personal care services can include things such as bathing/showering/washing, as well as dressing and meal preparation, but we can also meet more complex needs such as stoma bag and catheter care. If you’re unsure of the support you need, our friendly team is on hand to support and guide you on the most suitable home care package.

What are benefits of home care?

The main benefit of a home care service is that it’s an incredibly flexible option that can meet your needs both now, and as they change in the future. This means you are only ever paying for the care you need.

As well as supporting clients to stay in their own home, for as long as possible, our offering goes beyond just medical and personal assistance, we:

  • Help to maintain your existing routine, without the need to adjust to a care home schedule
  • Support your wellbeing by assisting with hobbies, wider interests, and even pets
  • Offer companionship; a consistent and familiar face, that you can depend on.

Who can benefit from your services?

Our care is suitable for:

  • Older adults needing help with daily living
  • People with disabilities or long-term conditions
  • Individuals recovering from illness or surgery
  • Family carers needing respite
  • Anyone who prefers care at home rather than in a facility

What areas do you cover?

Canterbury and the surrounding villages, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Faversham, Ashford and the Medway towns. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, please contact us—we’re happy to help.

When can you start?

  1. This is one of our most asked questions.

As a nimble care provider – we can be incredibly flexible, helping to meet your needs quickly. Depending on your location and requirements, care can start in just a few days following assessment.

Can I choose the times and days for care visits?

Absolutely. We offer flexible scheduling to suit your routine—whether you need daily visits, a few hours a week, or overnight support.

Are your carers trained and vetted?

Yes. All our carers undergo:

  • Enhanced DBS checks
  • Comprehensive training (including safeguarding, manual handling, and medication)
  • Ongoing professional development We only hire people we’d trust to care for our own family.

How do you create a care plan?

We start with a free, no-obligation consultation to understand your needs, preferences, and routines. From there, we create a personalised care plan tailored to your lifestyle and reviewed regularly to ensure it stays relevant.

What if my needs change over time?

We understand that care needs can evolve. That’s why we regularly review your care plan and adjust it as needed, in consultation with you and your family.

Do you work with local authorities and healthcare professionals?

Yes. We collaborate closely with GPs, district nurses, social workers, and local authorities to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

How much does home care cost?

Costs vary depending on the level and frequency of care. We’ll provide a clear, personalised quote after your initial consultation. Some clients may be eligible for funding through local authorities or direct payments.
